Parish Groups Meeting Minutes

Here in our Holy Child Parish Community, we have established one key night per month that we are calling our ‘Parish Groups Meeting night’.

As the title suggests, on this night (the first Thursday of each month 7.30pm – 9.30pm) any and all of our parish groups who choose to do so come together at the parish’s Holy Family Center.

At each meeting the members of the groups have the opportunity of spending a few minutes in prayer, meet with their own group members, network with other groups where this is seen as being helpful, come back together to let each other know briefly what each group is considering, and finally conclude with a friendly cuppa and an opportunity for informal sharing and meeting.

To date these meetings have been full of energy, excitement and a real pleasure to attend. The mixing together of so many individuals all contributing their time for the life of our community is truly a great event.

This site then, gives you, the viewer, an opportunity to learn a little about the role of each group by clicking the ‘groups’ icon, and also to read for yourself summaries of any meetings. We believe that by making this information available on the net many more people might have the opportunity of sharing opinions, ideas and something of your talents.
